Feeling Good

Today was a 3 miler. Since it's back in the 90s again, I was going to run at 6 this morning. But Ava woke up in the night crying for a glass of water. After I finally got her settled (in our bed) it was time to feed Grace. After that I had to get up several times to put Grace's pacifier back in her mouth. So I decided an evening run would have to do.

I took off down Winton Rd again going a different way that included more hills. I wasn't craving a hill workout, I just wanted to mix it up a bit. And I've got to tell you, I felt really good tonight. I actually felt like I was strong and in shape. And when I finished, I felt like I could go another mile or two. I'm not saying this to toot my own horn, but those of you who are runners know what I'm talking about and how encouraging runs like these are.

Nothing else interesting. My stats...I ran 3.17 miles in 28:40, an average pace of 9:02. (I ran a little farther because I don't know how accurate my ipod is.)
