Last night, Sunday, was my day to strength train. And once again, our day was too busy. My parents didn't leave till after lunch, we had a ton of house cleaning to do, and then family stopped by to visit during the evening. Around 10:00 we had to decide if Jeff should grocery shop or if I should work out. So being the responsible parents we are, we chose food. But then of course I was hit with guilt that this would by my first missed workout. So....
Grace had fallen asleep and Ava had taken a long late nap. So instead of putting her to bed which would have taken about an hour (I have to lay with her till she falls asleep), I changed into some workout clothes and asked her if she wanted to watch Wiggles, her favorite videos. Those of you who don't know who the Wiggles are, watch them on youtube...Hot Potato is one of our favorites. After doing a few exercises with my resistance bands, Grace started crying. So I grabbed her and stuck her in a bouncy seat to watch either me or the Wiggles, her choice. So there I was at 11:00 at night, both of my girls in front of the TV, doing squats to "Rock a bye Your Bear" and bicep curls to "Lights, Camera, Action...Wiggles"! I felt like the worst mother ever but I got my workout in!
