Yesterday was my crosstraining/strength training day. I took the girls to Winton Woods to play in the water area. After getting Ava nice and tired, I took full advantage and power walked the two girls around the lake. (It's a little less than 2 miles, I believe.) These days Ava wants to walk instead of riding in the stroller which makes exercising with the girls pretty impossible. So I walked as fast as I could because I knew it wouldn't be long before I heard the words "I want to walk!"
Then around 10:30 I finally found time to head to the basement to strength train. Barry's sort of gotten the boot since I've come up with my own full body workout. I turned on America's Got Talent (there was nothing else on) and ran through my exercises as fast as I could so that I could help Jeff with bedtime routine. I'm starting to enjoy working with the resistance bands and I feel I'm seeing results. It's always encouraging when you start seeing a little more definition and tone in your arms and legs.
Tonight is another group workout. I'm really looking forward to it since I missed Saturday!
