Better Runs

Ever since vacation, I've been forgetting to update my blog. Must be out of the habit. Anyway, things have been going well this last week. My blisters are healed and my ankle feels fine. Since running 14 on Tuesday I have done an easy 5 miler and a speed workout. I'm in Mt. Vernon this weekend which is where I ran my speed workout. I went to the bikepath to have mile markers easily accessible even though that's not my favorite place to run. I ran 6 miles, a mile warm up, 4 miles at a 7:50 pace, and a mile cooldown. It went pretty well, harder than I thought it would be to hold that pace for 4 miles without a half mile recovery in between each mile.

Besides training, I'm still raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I still need to raise about $900. If you want to help, please go to www.teamintraining.org to donate. Or if you know anyone who would be interested in donating, please let me know and I would love to contact them. Thanks again for all the support!

I run 16 miles tomorrow morning....please pray!
