Better than an ipod

Last night I ran my first Sunday easy run. I ran 4 miles with my husband Jeff and it was a great way to end the weekend. My legs were stiff from my long run on Saturday and I wasn't sure if running on Sunday would be the greatest idea. Jeff volunteered to run with me which meant finding a babysitter. Luckily my sister was available. Jeff was a great help at keeping my pace nice and easy. We ran the same route I ran Thursday, the hilly Winton Rd, and the hills just flew by. It was great for Jeff and I to have some "us" time even if we were running. We talked and laughed and even ran into Jeff's sister and her husband along the way. The run went by so quickly and was so enjoyable! I told Jeff I liked running with him better than my ipod and that's quite a compliment! Jeff enjoyed the run as well and was pleased he could make it 4 miles since he hadn't run that far since high school. We're going to try to do my easy runs together which are on Sundays and Thursdays. We'll see how that works out...
